Dedicated Account Management Team - Creative Benefits, Inc. assigns
a mutli-professional account management team to you. This team consists of a senior
member who coordinates all activities with the other specialists on your team (enrollment,
COBRA, claims and disability specialists). The team oversees all aspects of your
benefit program and stays in touch with you and with your employees. In fact, we
encourage employees and their spouses to call us directly.

Consultative Services – We obtain your plan renewals from the carriers and perform a complete cost and benefit analysis. We investigate alternative plans and alternative funding mechanisms. We negotiate with carriers on your behalf to obtain the most competitive pricing and we present an overall course of action that most closely meets your financial objectives.
Benchmarking – On an annual basis, we will provide benchmarking
reports that show plan and cost data from similar companies both on regional and
national levels.
Online Technology - A state-of-the-art, web-based human resource
information system can be customized for you. All employee data stays secure, organized
and accessible to you at any time. The system includes:

Benefits Administration
|
Daily Administrative Activities – Creative Benefits provides a level of service that is uncommon in any industry. We will process your enrollments/terminations/and life event changes with all carriers. We will also audit your monthly carrier invoices to insure that all transactions are correct. This service will afford the time for your HR professionals to focus on the other, more productive aspects of their jobs.
Claims Issues – Creative Benefits will serve as an advocate and intermediary in resolving claims issues with carriers and providers. In the case of disability claims, we encourage you to send disability claims directly to us. We check the paperwork, submit it to the carrier and then follow it through the system until it is adjudicated. We will also speak with the claimant and answer questions about the benefit and the process.
Full COBRA Administration - Our COBRA administrative services allow you to stay in compliance with all COBRA requirements. We have in-house COBRA Certified Administrators (CCAs) who manage all notifications, premium collection and communications including:
- Initial Notices
- Qualifying event notices
- Premium billing and collection
- Open Enrollment notifications to COBRA participants
Form 5500 Preparation – This document is legally required by the
federal government for your company’s health plans with over 100 participants. The
preparation can be time consuming and complicated. You can rely on our expertise
in preparing a signature-ready 5500 document.

Employee Communication |
|
Employee Surveys – Employees are surveyed to determine how they
perceive and utilize their benefit package. We analyze and interpret the data to
help you make decisions during the renewal process.
Benefits Statements - Employees are generally not aware of the
true dollar value of their benefits. We produce a customized statement for each employee to show the amount paid for all benefits on their behalf. This can be a
valuable tool for retaining employees.
Open Enrollment/New Hires – We produce handouts, worksheets and educational material to distribute and discuss during Open Enrollment meetings.
We conduct the meetings in accordance with your schedule to maximize employee attendance.
We are always available to answer employee questions and we include, with the enrollment
material, a wallet size card that contains contact numbers for the CBI account managers
and the carriers.

Human Resource Specialists - Two members of the Creative Benefits’
staff have earned the Professional Human Resources (PHR) designation. These specialists
are available to assist you with any HR related topics or concerns.
Legal Services - In cooperation with the law offices of MacElree
Harvey, CBI provides clients with access to legal resources. The firm of MacElree Harvey, with offices in West Chester and Kennett Square, consists of 30 attorneys specializing in 25 areas of law.
Legislative Updates - In a constantly changing legal environment,
we provide you with updates regarding bills, proposed and passed. We email summaries
of legislative changes and discuss the ramifications for your business.

Wellness Initiatives

Wellness Programs - Creative Benefits will partner with you to
identify wellness needs and develop programs to meet them:
- We will assist you in conducting health fairs that offer screenings and information
on a variety of topics
- We’ll make you aware of community-sponsored wellness resources in your area
- We’ll help you educate employees about the lifestyle programs available to them
through their insurance carrier
Newsletter and Payroll Stuffer - We also provide two wellness pieces
on a monthly basis that can be distributed to your employees. We will email to your Human Resource Department a monthly newsletter and a payroll stuffer. These publications
contain articles on a number of subjects and include tips for a healthier lifestyle
and recipes for healthier eating.
