Over the last couple months, Creative Benefits has been collecting children’s books, written in either English or Spanish, to benefit Scranton Primary Health Care’s ‘Reach Out and Read’ Program. It is the mission of the Clinics at Scranton Primary Health Care Center to provide quality primary medical & dental care at a reasonable cost to all persons in the local community, including those who are under-insured and uninsured. The Center’s service area includes the City of Scranton, Dunmore Borough, Blakely, Carbondale, Jermyn, Archbald, Mayfield, Old Forge, Moosic, Taylor, Dickson City, Jessup, Olyphant and Throop.
With the intention of nurturing the well-being of all persons, the ‘Reach Out and Read’ program grants every child the opportunity to take home a free book after receiving service at Scranton Primary’s facility – ultimately expanding the minds of every child and promoting a love for learning.
Motivated by this organization’s desire to care for every member of its community, the CBI Cares team was able to donate about 150 books to this deserving program. For more information about the Clinics at Scranton Primary Health Care Center, visit their website at scrantonprimary.org.
Contributing to causes that strengthen our community is a top priority at Creative Benefits. As always, if you know of any organizations in need of volunteers or donations, please email khenry@creativebenefitsinc.com. The CBI Cares team is always looking for more opportunities to give!
