History
Ten years ago, Malorie McLaughlin relocated to Northeastern Pennsylvania with her family and entered into the health insurance industry with a desire to build a meaningful and long-term career. With a decade of experience teaching special education in New York, Malorie came to Creative Benefits, Inc. with a unique skill set. Building strong rapport, adjusting different teaching methods to meet all knowledge levels, and providing unique solutions were already second nature to her.
Those experiences laid the foundation for a seamless transition into employee benefits and enhanced how she interacts with both clients and internal team members today.
Role Evolution
Malorie’s early experience focused on building a strong foundation in the health insurance industry. She developed her knowledge through hands-on experience, training, and close collaboration with colleagues, which shaped her technical understanding and approach to client service.
As her expertise grew, so did her responsibilities. She transitioned into a more strategic role, serving as a trusted advisor to clients. In this capacity, she now helps organizations navigate complex benefits decisions by translating detailed information into clear, actionable guidance.
Her approach emphasizes proactive problem-solving, identifying opportunities, and supporting clients in making informed decisions that align with their goals. A key strength in her role is the ability to simplify complex topics, making them more accessible and manageable.
Guidance and mentorship were pivotal to Malorie’s early success, and now she has become a mentor herself at Creative Benefits. Working closely with internal teams, she helps foster a cohesive, solutions-oriented environment that prioritizes both efficiency and high-quality service.
