Health Vision Month

Free Mental Health Resources from Child Guidance Resource Centers

Children’s mental health is essential and a critical part of healthy communities. This year has been especially challenging and the mental health impact of anxiety, stress, loss, and pain are huge — especially for young people and families. Child Guidance Resource Centers provides 9,600 children and families in Southeastern Pennsylvania a place to turn when they need it most.

To offer assistance with mental health care, Child Guidance Resources Centers has put together a few free mental health resources for the community!

  • Their Mental Health Toolkit, found at www.cgrc.org/blog, is continually updated with resources and support articles addressing a range of topics including self care, managing anxiety, the power of routine, cultivating gratitude and more.
  • CGRC also offers free virtual meetups with therapists every week. Some are general support groups and others are geared toward specific topic areas. Learn more by visiting their Facebook page or by emailing LRichmond@cgrc.org.
  • Twice a week, check out the #10at10 where different therapists share ten minutes of insights and tools to make your week more smooth.

We are so excited to join Child Guidance Resource Centers this Monday, June 15th, at the drawing of their raffle! Three winners will take home $7,500, $1,500 and $500 — the other $10,000 will directly support children and families in need. We encourage you to visit their Facebook page to watch the live drawing at 2:00 PM! While you’re there, take a moment to read more about the tremendous work this organization does for our community and in response to today’s climate.
