Health Plans to Continue Providing Free Preventative Care

RxDC Reporting Deadline Approaches

Each year, group health plans and health insurance issuers are required to submit information on prescription drug and health care spending to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The prescription drug data collection (RxDC) reporting is due June 1, 2024, for the 2023 calendar year.

The report includes information on plan-level data, such as beginning and end dates, enrollment, and premium data. Detailed information regarding medical and pharmacy benefits is also included. A health plan’s submission must contain all required files and be submitted to CMS to be considered complete.
